UNLIMITED PRODUCTIONS AND BART ROELEN TAKE HOME LIVE ENTERTAINMENT PRODUCTION AWARD

Tiësto Live at the Great Pyramids of Giza was awarded International Impact of the Year 2025 at this year’s Live Entertainment Production Awards.

On December 19 2025, Tiësto gave an unforgettable three-hour show at the Pyramids of Giza for an audience of 10,000 people.

The concept (by Bo Basic) and set and lighting design (by High Scream’s Ian Tomlinson) technically translated and executed by Unlimited Productions (Bart Roelen), consisted of a large-scale laser and lighting installation without video screens. Instead, the pyramids themselves formed the dramatic backdrop for the show.
By omitting video screens, the production was able to create a low stage, giving every visitor a clear and uninterrupted view of the pyramids. The lighting, lasers, and historical surroundings blended seamlessly, resulting in a powerful and immersive visual experience. After a week of on-site preparation and programming, the production came to fruition as a bold, precise, and perfectly balanced show that respected both the artist and the location.

This wasn’t just a show; it was a custom-built fusion of light, lasers and scenography, designed specifically for one of the most iconic backdrops in history. This award recognizes what Unlimited Productions strives for every day: translating massive, seemingly impossible ideas into technically visually stunning realities, no matter how complex the conditions. With this project the company proudly represented and showcased the global impact of Dutch event craft.
