Unbranded builds Eurovision Song Contest set for the fifth time
UNBRANDED IS THE OFFICIAL TECHNICAL SUPPLIER FOR THIS YEAR’S EUROVISION SONG CONTEST IN VIENNA
Unbranded has been chosen to build the Eurovision Song Contest stage for the fifth time. Following previous successful editions in Vienna (2015), Kyiv (2017), Rotterdam (2021), and Basel (2025), the team will once again create an impressive stage for the live music spectacle in Vienna, Austria.
The set will be built by a team of 35 professionals and is based on a design by Florian Wieder of Wieder Design. This year’s work includes the construction of the main stage, the catwalk, the green room, and elements for the interval acts. In addition, Unbranded will create a selection of props for the contest’s participating delegations. The entire set is being produced in-house at the Media Park in Hilversum and will be transported to Vienna in April for installation in the arena.
Mikael Olsthoorn, Managing Director of Unbranded: “Each year, it’s exciting to see whether we will once again have the opportunity to contribute to the Eurovision Song Contest. The fact that we’ve been able to do this five times in just 11 years makes me incredibly proud. It shows that we are a serious European player capable of delivering large-scale sets at the very highest level.”
75th anniversary
This year is particularly special as Unbranded celebrates its 75th anniversary. Since its founding in 1951, the company has been known for delivering high-quality, creative sets for television productions. Over the decades, Unbranded has also created sets for many leading international events and experiences. The anniversary year marks an important milestone in which the company’s experience, craftsmanship and ambitions come together, a perfect moment to once again contribute to the Eurovision Song Contest.
