Transforming Studio 21 for Bern Hospitality Group
STUDIO 21 UNDERGOES METAMORPHOSIS: 360 EXPERIENCE GROUP HEADS DESIGN AS START OF NEW STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
Studio 21, the iconic event location at the Media Park in Hilversum, is set to undergo a major transformation this summer. Bern Hospitality Group, parent company of Gooiland Events, Gooiland Hotel, and Blended Hilversum, will take over operations as of July 1, 2026, with a primary focus on corporate events.
To completely reposition and modernize the studio, Bern Hospitality Group has enlisted the expertise of 360 Experience Group. The group will not only spearhead the new design but will also serve as a preferred supplier, helping Bern Hospitality Group deliver high-end events for its clients. Leveraging the specialized skills of Live Legends, Unbranded, and SoulMates Creative LED, all part of 360 Experience Group, Studio 21 will be transformed into a next-generation venue, scheduled to open its doors in early September.
This relaunch marks a new era for the Media Park location, which has played a central role in the Dutch event and entertainment industry for decades. By joining forces, the partners are not only refreshing the interior but also creating a “one-stop-shop” for clients looking to produce world-class corporate and public events.
An end-to-end solution through specialized expertise
Within this partnership, the companies of 360 Experience Group will act as preferred suppliers. The creative foundation of the new studio is being laid by Live Legends, responsible for the full redesign. The physical realization and high-end finishing are in the hands of Unbranded and SoulMates Creative LED.
This close collaboration creates a unique synergy between Bern Hospitality Group’s operational excellence and the creative and technical power of 360 Experience Group. Clients will benefit from a fully integrated service, ranging from content and lighting design to full technical production.
Vision for the future
Olivier Monod de Froideville, CEO of 360 Experience Group, sees the collaboration as a logical step:
“Studio 21 has been a household name in the event industry for a very long time. Various companies within our group have had the pleasure of executing many beautiful projects there over the years. Furthermore, the location is inextricably linked to our decor and specials division at the Media Park. I am therefore delighted that, after all these years, we can formally commit several of our companies to the location. I have great respect for Philip Lamers’ entrepreneurship in making the studio completely contemporary again and look forward to our collaboration and the many fantastic projects to follow!”
Philip Lamers, CEO of Bern Hospitality Group, adds:
“Beyond a strong personal connection, both our organizations work from the same conviction and with the same goal: creating distinctive and unforgettable experiences. I am very much looking forward to what we are going to create together.”
Opening in September
The coming months will be dedicated to design and construction. The official reopening of Studio 21 is planned for early September, ensuring the venue is fully operational for the start of the new event season.
